The Black Dog

The Black Dog Tavern occupies a place in the heart of the Island community, overlooking the harbor next to the ferry landing. For Islanders, we are a local institution ~ open year round for the past thirty years for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We're the bakeries where you grab a cup of coffee and bag of cookies on the way to the ferry or freshly baked bread for tonight's dinner or nutritious Black Dog biscuits for your best pup. Named after the loyal four-legged companion of Captain Robert Douglas, The Black Dog celebrates good times, good food, good people -- and good dogs!
